Bre-B: Colombia’s Instant Payment System

Bre-B is Colombia’s new real-time payments platform launched by the Central Bank. It allows users to send and receive funds instantly via unique “Bre-B keys.”

Key Features

Bre-B Keys (Claves Bre-B): Users can register identifiers such as phone numbers, email addresses, national IDs, or randomly generated aliases. Each key is mapped to a specific financial account for instant transfers.

Cashouts to Bre-B Keys: Merchants can initiate withdrawals to a user’s Bre-B key instead of a traditional bank account number, streamlining the payout process and ensuring faster fund delivery.
