🇨🇴Get ready for Bre-B

Bre-B is Colombia’s new instant payment system, created by the Central Bank.

It allows users to make bank transfers and payments through unique keys. With Bre-B, a dynamic QR code is generated, enabling customers to complete their payment instantly through their preferred banking app, wallet, or platform.

The role of Bre-B keys ("Claves Bre-B")

Bre-B keys are unique identifiers for bank accounts or wallets, and users can associate them to their personal infomation, such as:

• 📞 Phone number

• 📩 Email

• 🪪 National ID (cédula)

• 🔢 A random unique code

The user registers their chosen key with their bank or wallet, and from then on, payments can be sent directly to that key.

Deposits

👉 In your deposit request, simply send payment method = BREB. 👉 A dynamic QR code and alias will be generated automatically, just like in Brazil with Pix. 👉 The users complete the payment from their preferred bank, wallet, or app. 👉 The rest of the process remains the same, using the same endpoint you already work with.

Cashouts

We accept sending cashout to user's Bre-B keys. 👉 Instead of sending the bank account address, merchants can send send the Bre-B key of the user.
